According to the World Wildlife Foundation’s 2016 Plowprint report, we’ve lost the equivalent of Kansas in grasslands in the past decade in North America. Farmers are struggling to survive and often need to put their land to work. It turns out grazing might be the answer in terms of conserving some of the prairie biodiversity as this story points out.
